Cookie policy

This page explains which cookies and similar tools vitadagolden.it uses, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), the Italian Privacy Code and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021. The controller is named in the privacy policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site saves in your browser to remember a few things, for example that you are signed in. They can be technical, needed for the site to work, or serve other purposes (statistics, advertising, content from other sites): we only use the latter with your consent.

Technical cookies (always on)

They are essential and need no consent. They are not used to profile you and we share them with no one.

The Instagram photos and reels you see on the site are stored and played from our own servers: watching them sets no Meta cookies.

The exception is the reels with licensed music, which Instagram does not let us copy: the Instagram player (Meta Platforms) plays them, and it may set its own cookies and know you viewed the content, under its own cookie policy. That is why the Instagram player loads only after your consent; without it you see the preview and a link to open the reel on Instagram.

Statistics and advertising

We use no statistics, profiling or advertising cookies, neither ours nor anyone else's. If we ever add them, we will update this page and ask for your consent before turning them on.

How to choose and change your mind

On your first visit a box asks what you prefer: you can accept, reject or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and closing the box with the X means rejecting. We ask again after 6 months, or sooner if we add new kinds of cookies.

You can change your choices at any time from the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. If you block the technical cookies, the personal area does not work.
